Simpsons started in Stawell in 1996 and has grown to become the leading recruitment agency and labour-hire company we are today. We’ve expanded to offices in Horsham and Ballarat to now cover the recruitment needs of a large part of central-west Victoria. Simpsons has a staff of nine across the three offices, and we have a diverse mix of clients, including state government departments, hospitality, trades, administration and finance businesses.

Bryce Simpson – Managing Director
Bryce and his wife Debbie launched Simpsons labour hire and recruitment agency in Stawell out of a desire to provide a quality labour-hire and employment service to country Victoria. Bryce enjoys finding the right people to suit employers’ recruitment and labour-hire needs, and helping businesses or organisations develop and grow.
Ivan Jones – Senior Consultant
Experience with a variety of people and roles makes Ivan a key member of the Simpsons team. Ivan spent 30 years with VicRoads in Horsham as regional administration manager, including five years on its peer-elected advisory board. His role meant he traveled extensively, meeting politicians to road-construction workers, and be brought this experience to our recruitment agency. Ivan identified labour-hire recruiting for different projects and businesses as a growth area, and his skills and experience make him perfect for the group training and workplace training side of the Simpsons business.
